Former Chinese athlete, Jin Jing, made her 16 (appear) in the National Stadium, 17 (carry) Paralympic torch during the Opening Ceremony of the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games on September 6.
But now she’s back in the Bird’s Nest, and this time she’s not competing, or carrying a flame, 18 working for the media. Jin said that she was a little regretful for not being able to participate 19 the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games.
Born in 1981, Jin 20 (raise) in a common wage-earning family in Hefei, Anhui Province. Jin had part of her right leg amputated in 1989 because 21 a malignant tumor on her ankle.
