A good day at school
Today I had a good time, though it was cloudy. As we know, cloudy days usually make people sad, but
I felt really happy today.
In my English class, Miss Chen praised me. She said I was good at speaking and my pronunciation was
as good as that of native speakers. That made me excited indeed. In my opinion, English is one of the most
useful subjects in and out of school. I have decided when the 29th Olympics is held in August next year, I
will volunteer to help foreigners as a guide.
The teacher's encouragement has impressed me a lot. I believe if I try my best to study, I'll surely be able
to do better in the future.

A good day out of school
That day I had a good time. It was sunny and hot, and you know sunny days always make me happy.
My friends invited me to go to the beach to have fun. There we did a lot of things. In the morning we all
went out boating far into the sea. In the afternoon, some were playing beach volleyball joyfully, while others
were swimming in the sea. As for me, I especially enjoyed the charming sunshine. So I lay on the beach and
read my favorite novel under my umbrella. It was so relaxing.
Study is important, and so is relaxation.
