鸳鸯蝴蝶派：即“礼拜六派”，指清末民初专写才子佳人题材的文学派别，因擅长“卅六鸳鸯同命鸟，遗孀蝴蝶可怜虫”模式而得名，繁盛于1912-1917年间。

《礼拜六》周刊：1914年创办的鸳鸯蝴蝶派文学杂志。共出版200期，在民国时期影响很大。

言情派代表——徐枕亚《玉梨魂》；谴责小说代表——李涵秋《广陵潮》；社会小说代表——包天笑《馨儿就学记》；
