浓烟和烟囱

  烟囱从早到晚不断地排出股股浓烟,这本来是烟囱应该做的事,所以他从来不声不响,更不为这件事自吹自擂。而浓烟则不一样,当他从烟囱冲出来的时候,他总是大模大样,张牙舞爪,忽东忽西,忽南忽北地朝天上飞去。他永远洋洋自得,不可一世。

  有一次,浓烟忽然俯视了一下烟囱,就嘲笑起烟囱来:

  “多渺小,多可怜啊!你那样一动不动,不嫌乏味吗?我看你就像一根呆板的木头。你是什么时候站在我身子底下的?你注意了我高超的舞蹈了吗?你看了不觉得惭愧吗?”

  烟囱回答道:

  “你比我高,比我粗大,还会舞蹈,这都不假。只是你的行动没有一定的方向,你永远只会随风飘荡,这也没有什么值得骄傲的。”

  浓烟冷笑了一声说:

  “你这完全是嫉妒我,但嫉妒也是白搭。你看我千变万化,你看我越变越大……”

  浓烟继续自我欣赏,继续在摇摇摆摆中升腾。他一边飞一边膨胀,可是色彩越变越淡,声音也越来越微弱。飞升呀,飞升呀,他不断膨胀,不断扩散,最后终于完全消失了。
