you'd better make friends with the students who are good at English, so they are very likely to helping you

when you meet difficulties. Thirdly, learning English well is a long process. Remember: to reward yourself

when you have made progress, that will inspire you greatly. Anyway, you must work hard on English and

never give up learning it. Just believe in yourselves. Where there is a will, there is a way.

美国国防部高级研究计划局正在实行名为“高级语音编解码”的计划,目的是利用非声响传感器来取代麦克风。通过探测说话者的神经和肌肉活动将其所说的话“翻译”出来,而不再将声波转换为电波然后还原成声音。目前两套类似的系统正在研制中。 

其中一套由马萨诸塞州伍斯特工学院的里克布朗开发,所使用的传感器被称为“调谐电磁共鸣项圈”。说话人将其戴在脖子上,利用核磁共振成像技术,传感器可以探测到说话时声带的波动变化。即使背景环境很嘈杂,也能将所说的“话”清晰地传送到对方的耳朵里。 

另一套系统由美国航空航天局艾姆斯实验室研发。同样是将作为肌电传感器的电极戴在颈部,来探测说话过程中电阻的变化。探测到的数据经处理后确定为相应的单词模式,然后再将单词模式发送至计算机声音合成仪。即使说话人不出声地默诵,系统也能够看穿其心中所想,充当一个理想的“传声筒”。 

据悉,布朗已经研制出“调谐电磁共鸣项圈”原型。肌电传感器的原型也将于2008年面世。如果测试成功,这一技术对于执行秘密任务的土兵,处于嘈杂环境中的机组成员或船员或水下工作者来说意义非凡。也许有一天,这些军用技术转为民用后,我们再也不用在闹市或者公共汽车上对着手机不顾形象地大喊大叫,在图书馆或者电影院也能够“无声”交谈而不至于招来白眼了。不过唯一的缺憾是,听筒里传来的将是计算机合成的模拟声音。
