新闻真实包含了双重含义,即新闻的具体真实和总体真实。新闻的具体真实是指新闻报道对具体的客观事实所做的真实的反映。新闻的总体真实则是指在具体事实的基础上,新闻报道真实地反映客观事物的运动变化过程和客观事物的普遍联系,揭示客观事物相互联系和发展中存在的内部规律性。具体真实是基础,它对总体真实起制约作用,总体真实是在具体真实的基础上的升华,它对具体真实起指导作用。
