2009年11月29日至30日，全国未成年人思想道德建设工作会议在湖南长沙召开。据统计，目前长沙已建成了385个社区未成年人活动室，创建了67个青少年示范教育社区，开展丰富多彩的未成年人道德实践和体验活动，建“爱心存折”、开展“每日一小时”“快乐星期三”“陕乐假期”“我幸福，我感恩”等活动，实现了未成年人思想道德教育“从无形向有形，从无趣到有趣”的转变。29日晚，以“和未来有约”为主题的未成年人思想道德建设主题晚会在长沙五洲大剧院举行。
