   就在今天下午,加伦让我们知道了他是怎样的一个人。

  因为有事,我进教室稍晚了一点,不过老师还没有来。几个男孩子正在逗弄可怜的克洛西——就是那个残了一只手臂,还有一个卖菜的妈妈的男孩子。他们用尺子戳他,用剥了的粟子壳砸他的脸,恶意地模仿他残臂的姿势,取笑他是个残废,是个怪物。他孤零零地坐在板凳上,脸色惨白,求饶的目光从一个人的脸上移到另一个人的脸上,恳求他们放过他。突然,一脸坏相的费兰提跳上一张长凳,装作两臂各挎一只篮子的样子,取笑克洛西那个卖菜的母亲。许多人开始大笑。克洛西狂怒了,他抓起一个墨水瓶,用尽全身力气向那坏蛋砸去。     

  费兰提一闪,避开了,墨水瓶刚巧砸在走进教室的老师身上!

  老师脸色苍白地走上讲台,用严厉的声音责问道:“谁干的?”没有人回答。

  克洛西站了起来,抽泣着说:“他们砸我……还侮辱我,我气昏了头,才……”    

  “坐下吧。”老师说,“欺辱他的人,站起来。”     

  四个人耷拉着脑袋站了起来。
