Americans use the water more than any other
people in the world. If we continue to use it
as freely as we did now,we soon won't have
many to meet our needs. In 1900,40 billion gallons
of water is used each day in the United States. In
1980,700 billions gallons were used on average.
Americans now use mostly 90 gallons of water a day.
And much more water is used to making the things
American people are like to have. For example,it
takes thousand of gallons of water to make just
