Do you know about the flu? The flu germs usually spread quickly. In winter, lots of people may get
the flu. If you do get sick, do you know what to do? Here are some tips.
Drink lots of water. Water is good for your body especially (尤其) when you get the flu.
Get plenty of sleep and take it easy. If you can't sleep, you can listen to music, watch a movie or read a book to relax yourself.
If you feel serious, ask your parents to take you to see the doctor. But don't take any medicine until
you see the doctor.
Wash your hands often! You certainly don't want to spread the flu to anyone else. Also, don't share (共用) cups and eating utensils (餐具), like forks, with other people.
Most people who get the flu may get better without going to see the doctor. They will get better in
about a week. But if you have a high temperature for more than a few days, call your doctor at once.
