记者所扮演的社会角色不是随意的,想装扮成什么就装扮什么,没有任何限制的。要注意以下几点:①记者不能装扮成政府工作人员,借处理政事获取政府新闻;不能装扮成司法工作人员,借审理案件获取法律新闻;不能装扮成军事机关人员,获得军事资料、取得军事新闻。

②记者不应装扮成违法犯罪之徒。

③记者不能改变其固有的自然性别角色,而深入到另一个性别世界中采访,这是传统习俗和道德不允许的。

隐性采访毕竟只是显性(公开)采访的一种辅助手段和工具。既然是辅助性的,那么就应该有一个“度”的问题。新闻工作者只有在用尽了一切合法的、毫无争议的手段之后,才可考虑是否用相对来说值得研究的手段来采访新闻。并应遵循以下原则:公共利益原则、别无他法原则、场合的公共性原则、减少道德损失原则。
