(1)“核心—边缘理论”

任何一个国家或者地区,都是由核心区域和边缘区域(也称为中心区域和外围区域)所组成的,其界限由核心区与边缘区的关系来确定。其中,核心区域大多是国家内的城市聚集区或一个城市内的中心区域,工业发达、技术先进、资本集中、人口密集、经济增速度快,边缘区域则是那些相对于核心区域来说经济较为落后的区域。总体上说,核心居于统治地位,边缘在发展上依赖于核心,两者的关系既不平等又相互补充,在一定的条件下,或在经济发展的不同阶段会发生相互转化。

(2)区域旅游协作理论

旅游业是一项开放性、关联性程度极高的产业,在当前区域旅游合作广泛开展的大背景下,开展区域旅游协作是体现“大旅游、大市场、大产业”观念的必由之路,也是我国旅游业与国际接轨的必然趋势。区域旅游协作,既包括区域之间的旅游协作,也包括区域内部地区与地区之间的旅游协作。协作的开展,有利于避免为了抢占市场份额而产生的地方旅游保护主义倾向;避免以行政区域代替客观上的旅游区域,从而造成市场恶性竞争、旅游产品重复建设、旅游精品线路分割等违背客观规律等问题的发生。

(4)区域旅游可持续发展理论

理论实质在于“既满足当代人的需要,又不损害后人满足需要的能力的发展。”这一理论是人类在对工业化运动带来的人口、资源、环境与经济社会之间的不协调现象反思的基础上,在发展道路、模式上的理性选择。选择的核心是要求可持续经济、可持续生态和可持续社会三方面的协调统一,要求在社会发展中,既讲究经济效率,又关注生态和谐与社会公平,最终得到人类社会的全面发展,实现以人为中心的“自然—社会—经济”复合系统的可持续发展。
