My parents and I spent some time off in the Summer Palace last
Saturday. It is a lovely park in the west of Beijing. It's only twenty kilomet

from the center of the city. It covers 2.9 square kilometers. One of the famous
tourist spot is the Longevity Hill. My father drove us to the park that morning and
it took us about 2 hours. We found that there were many people in the park. So
we decided to climb up to the top of the Longevity Hill. When we got there, we
had a clear view of the whole park. There we met a few foreigners. They said
that they liked Beijing very much. I was really proud of our city when I heard
that. I hope our city will become more and more beautiful and people all over the
world will come to visit it every year.
