| Hello, Mike. I'm glad that you had a very good Christmas. The Spring Festival is the most |
| important festival in China. As China is a big country, people in different places celebrate it in |
| different ways. A week before the holiday, we do a lot of shopping for presents, nice clothes and |
| delicious food. On the Eve of the Spring Festival, all family members get together at the parents' |
| place for a big dinner and the dumpling is the traditional food. We usually watch the wonderfur |
| TV programmes till midnight. Children wear new clothes and get the money in a small red bag |
| from their grandparents. We send short messages to wish each other good luck in the new year |
| by mobile phone. Everyone enjoys this holiday with the family. |
