Before Christmas Day our school held an English Week. It started on December 19th and ended on
December 25th. All the students, our English teachers and three foreign teachers in our school took part
in it.
During the week, each class held an English Hand-copied Newspaper competition. We watched a
few English films. We sang English songs, read English poems, held English Speech Contests and so on.
We also had an English evening party. All of us enjoyed ourselves on Christmas Eve.
Now each student in our school reads English poems every day. We are more and more interested in
learning English. And our spoken English is getting better and better.
