An earthquack hit Pu'er Yunnan Province on June 3, 2007. Many houses fell down and lots of people
became homeless. They needed food and medicine. After we heard the news, our school held a charity show
to raise money. We students donated our pocket money. We also got a lot of support from local businesses.
Finally, we raised RMB 100,000 yuan.
I find it very meaningful to hold such events. I think that the world will be a better place to live in if
everyone offers his love. I hope more events will be held in the future.
