April 14 was a special day for China. A terrible earthquake happened in Yushu, Qinghai. After a while, many
people were killed, several thousands of people lost their houses. Children are eager to return to school.
I'm sure the earthquake will never beat us Chinese people. General Secretary Hu Jintao and we are with
you for ever. This encourages us to face all kinds of difficulties.
In the class meeting, some of us donated our books, school bags and clothes. I also gave away my pocket
money to you. We'll send all these to you through the Red Cross.
We'll stand side by side with you and rebuild your hometown. I'm sure new houses and modern schools
will be built soon.
