按绿苑小区住宅设计，准备在没两栋楼房之间，开辟面积为600平方米的一块长方形绿地，并且长比宽多10米，那么绿地的长和宽各是多少？
答案
设宽为x米，则长为（x+10）米，
依题意列方程：x（x+10）=600，
解方程得：x1=20，x2=-30（舍去）．
∴x+10=30
答：绿地的长和宽各是30米，20米．
