Of all we eat and drink, water is the most important. We can still live when we have no food for many

days, but if we have no water for three days, we may die.

However, some people don't understand this. They keep throwing rubbish into rivers or lakes. Some

factories even pour waste water into rivers. Now many rivers and lakes are becoming very dirty and the

water there is no longer safe for people to drink.

Let's do our best to keep the water clean to save ourselves.
