  那是一天深夜,电话铃响。我拿起听筒,是一个女人的声音:“老师,我是您班学生郑亮的妈妈——这么晚了打搅,真不好意思——有件事想问问您:郑亮这两天没出什么事吧?”我吓了一跳,忙问:“郑亮没有回家?’’郑亮妈妈说:“回了,只是着了魔似的,反反复复地说:‘这是不公平的。’现在,他睡下了,我放心不下,就给您拨了这个电话。”

  ——不公平?有什么不公平的呢?这几天我忙于跑自己调动的事,班里的工作有些放手,难道说我不在的时候,郑亮跟同学们发生过龃龉? 

  我心里没底,可嘴上却故作轻松地劝慰了郑亮妈妈一番。

  第二天一早,我到班里组织晨读。按着头一天晚自习预习时分配好的角色,大家开始兴致勃勃地朗读新课文——《雷雨》第二幕。我却无心听取周朴园和鲁侍萍的精彩对白,只是思忖着展读后如何“提审”郑亮,再如何编织一个新理由请假出去,到那个我梦寐以求的大单位去拜望一下据说是对我颇感兴趣的老总。

   突然,同学们哄笑起来。抬眼看时,见郑亮脸孔红红地从座位上站起身——轮到他读了。他分到的是周冲这个角色。只听他大声读道: “爸爸,这是不公平的。”读罢,带着成功的欣悦坐下了。

  我忙埋头看书——可不是么,周冲就只有这一句台词!

  猛然间,我彻底明白了昨天晚上发生在郑家的一幕。原来,这男孩领到自己的角色之后,一直在“着了魔”般地诵读那仅有的一句台词。他没有因为自己角色的卑微而沉郁失落,也没有因为台词太少而掉以轻心,他用心揣摩着,玩味着,掂量着,把握着,他要给这至短的台词注入无比丰沛的情感啊!

  我听不清周朴园和鲁大海在争执些什么,只管用激赏的目光直视着那个只分到了一句台词的男孩,我想对他说:谢谢你,谢谢你教会了我如何倾全力去诵读自己人生的台词,谢谢你教会了我如何把哪怕仅有一寸的灵魂圣土也侍弄得美艳芳香。

iPhone Left in Hot Car for Three Hours
