参考答案:一个人要想取得学业上或事业上的成功,除了个人的努力之外,坚持也是实现这一目标的重要条件。比如马拉松赛跑便是如此,谁能坚持到最后,谁就是胜利者。爱迪生曾花了整整十年去研制蓄电池,其间不断遭受失败的他一直咬牙坚持,经过了五万次左右的试验,终于取得成功,发明了蓄电池,被人们授与“发明大王”的美称。

坚持英语学习是需要一个时段的积累和“沉淀”的,绝非靠“一蹴而就”、走“捷径”。我的英语就是靠着这几年不断地学习走下来的。起初我的英语成绩一般,主要是词汇量少,语法知识不完善,于是我制定计划,坚持每天早上五点半起床,无论夏天还是冬天。早上我在户外大声的朗读英语课文,记忆单词,晚上抽出一定时间做题强化训练。并且在上课下课的过程中自言自语的念上几句英文,正是这种坚持使得我高分通过四六级英语考试,在GRE、托福上取得优异成绩,在学校举行的英语演讲比赛上获得名次。有时候让人每天只记忆一个单词,也不是一件能够长久坚持下来的事情,但是只要你制定了合理的复习计划,然后始终如一坚持下去,一定会得到你想要的。

有志者事竟成,谁坚持到最后就是胜利者。因此意志力是支持成功的精神食粮,决定了人生命运的最后走向。锲而不舍,要想成功就要勇于面对风险,不怕失败;在困难和挫折面前,能顽强坚持,绝不半途而废。当然,在坚持的过程中不能一味地不撞南墙不回头,应该有这样才会离成功越来越近。
