（1）导线接触表面的电流强度不应超过1.5A/mm。
（2）一次焊接的最大截面是由碳极截面决定的，以下最大的焊接尺寸可供参考：在固定的铜焊制备上焊接面积在100×100mm之内，两被焊接铜排厚度均在10mm以下，用轻便的可携式电焊夹焊接的面积在60×40mm之内；被焊铜排厚度均在8mm。
（3）在一排相邻焊接点之间应有足够的距离，使焊接附近部分不被烧热，已完成的焊接不被熔化。大容量的变压器，如果绕组的若干组导线分别焊到一个铜排上，必须把铜排割开，分成相当的几股，割开的方向应与铜排中工作电流牟方向一致。
（4）两铜排焊接时，为保证焊料填入被焊接铜排之间，其中之一应割开。
（5）用电焊夹子焊接时，焊接点与相邻部分之间应有足够的放置电焊夹子的自由空间，所需距离视连接的尺寸及焊夹的大小而定，一般约为30～90mm。焊接绕组导线与引线时，应防止把绕组烤坏。
