I am a Senior Two student. Recently we have carried out a survey-"To whom do you go when in trouble?"
The results are as follows.
61% of the students surveyed select friends or schoolmates as their ideal listeners when they have trouble,
arguing that they are of the same age and have a better understanding of each other. 22% choose to talk to
teachers and parents, who they think are rich in life and educational experiences. However, there are also 17%
who don't share their troubles at all. Some are unwilling to do so. Others find it hard to communicate with
others.
Fortunately, most students can turn to their classmates and friends for help when in trouble. But it's obvious
that some lack communication with others. In my opinion, teachers and parents need to know what students
have in mind and play a more important role in their lives.
