One possible version

     Peking University's policy to enron high school students recommended without exams has stirred a

heated discussion all over China. 

     Many supporters love this new policy. On the one hand, the new policy can make up for shortage of

college entrance examination system for selecting talented students and high-quality students. What's more,

the new policy can gradually change the current college enrollment method by a once-a-year national exam.

     However, the new admission policy aroused disagreernents. One reason is that it is unfair to the rest of

students and brings great pressure to student who are not outstanding but diligent because fair competition

with examination is the only chance for those students to prove themselves. What's worse, the new policy

is not easy to operate well! The criteria for these students have not been decided yet. What kind of students

have the quality to be recommended doesn't have an agreed standard. Compared with huge attraction of

admission without exams, it is likely that some students will take a risk to cheat the public. 

     As far as I am concerned, this new policy is a very good experiment to the reform of the Chinese National

Exam and enrollment svstem. However, as an experiment, it still needs some improvements.
