One possible version
It is reported that recently 70 natural gas buses have been put into use and two gas stations have
been set up in our city. Compared with traditional fuels, natural gas is not only energy-saving but also
environmentally friendly. For one thing, Natural gas vehicles consume much less fuels, thus greatly
reducing cost. For another, unlike traditional vehicles, natural gas vehicles release very small amounts
of harmful gases and they don’t’ make loud noises, which is beneficial to the health of people as well
as the environment of the city.
Apart from the effort of the government, companies and individuals are also encouraged to use
natural gas vehicles because only by joint efforts can we build up a low-carbon city.
