The results of a recent survey show that most households are using at least one,if not both
of their recycling bins.30% of all the households are using both recycling bins while only 10%
are using neither recycling bin and instead are putting all their rubbish in the red bin for
non-recyclable rubbish.
Another 50% are using the yellow bin for recycling bottles,papers and plastic but not the
green bin for garden rubbish.As 40% of the households do not have a garden,it is
understandable that this figure is not higher.
Another 10% of the households are using the green bin for recycling garden rubbish but not
the yellow bin.
