Recently, the World Forum on Water Resources has suggested that all countries take action to
deal with the global water crisis. Millions of people worldwide currently face water shortages.
Some poor countries suffer from periodic droughts. Almost half of the population in developing
countries are suffering from diseases caused by untreated water. Poor quality water is a threat to
humans’health at any time.

According to the World Forum on Water Resources, all countries in the world now, especially
developing countries, are facing water shortages, which is leading to many serious problems and
even threatens the health of people. It's time to take action.
I think that we should do all that we can to save water. Firstly, we should try not to leave the tap
running while we brush our teeth, wash our hands or clean vegetables. Secondly, we can wash
vegetables and fruits in a basin rather than under a running tap so that the leftover water can be used
for watering house plants or cleaning the floor. Also, we should take a shorter shower and place a
bucket in the bathroom to catch excess water. Never think that these things are not worth doing.
Every drop counts and we can make a difference.
