Dear Katherine,

I don't think you should be so anxious about your son's studies.Important as it is, college entrance

examination is only one of the challenges we'll have to face up to throughout our lives.As is known to us,

happiness in life and success in career won't always belong to those who earn high marks in their schools.

As a high school student myself, I think there are several things you can do for your son.First of all, get to

know what he is interested in and help him set an appropriate goal for himself.After all, a proper

expectation often means less stress and stronger motivation.Furthermore, believe in him and encourage

him to believe in himself.Only in such a state of mind will he enjoy what he is doing and learn efficiently.Lastly, instead of always telling him to listen to you, as most parents do, do spare some time to listen to him.

The more he communicates with others, the less pressure he'll have.
