Dear Jim,

I am so excited that you’ll come to China and stay with me for a week during the summer vacation.

I’ll be free after June 18th and will have plenty of time to be with you.

When you come, please take a plane to Tianjin . I’ll meet you at Tianjin Airport and then I’ll take you to my home by bus. The weather here in summer is very hot, so you needn’t take many clothes. During your stay here, I’ll take you to some places of interest, have a taste of some local snacks so that you can know about the customs and recent development here. What is more, some modern stadiums have been built here for the 2008 Olympic Games. We can go and have a look and maybe we’ll be lucky enough to watch some games. I’m sure we’ll have a very good time together.
