Our class had a heated discussion last Friday on what gifts we should give to our classmates and friends. Sixty percent of our classmates said that they would buy gifts from a shop because they think such gifts are delicate and pretty, thus proper for giving. However, the others prefer to make the gifts by themselves. On the one hand, this can show their personal outstanding skills and help them develop their abilities to do things themselves and on the other hand, they can use materials from home to make gifts, which can strengthen their awareness of importance of saving.

In my opinion, giving gifts made by ourselves is a better way to express our feelings.
