假设你是李华,你校英语报将举行“What would happen without computers in the life?”

As we all know, computers are playing a very important role in our life nowadays. If there were no computers, our life would become quite inconvenient. Firstly, we can’t communicate with our friends or family fast and conveniently by sending e-mails or chatting online. Secondly, we wouldn’t learn what is happening at home and abroad in the quickest way through the Internet. Thirdly, when we feel tired or bored in daily life, we couldn’t download the music, movies or plays and relax ourselves by enjoying them. It would be a terrible thing, especially for those who have been accustomed to the life with a computer, it would be much more difficult for scientists to work out some advanced problems, which will no doubt hold back the development of science and technology.

In conclusion, so significant are computers to us that we can’t live well without them.

这篇作文让学生写一篇120—150词的英语短文,题目是“What would happen without computers in the life?” If there were no computers, our life would become quite inconvenient. It would be a terrible thing, especially for those who have been accustomed to the life with a computer, it would be much more difficult for scientists to work out some advanced problems, which will no doubt hold back the development of science and technology.,这两句划线的句子都是定语从句。

In conclusion, so significant are computers to us that we can’t live well without them.
