Dear Peter,
I was happy to receive your letter asking about what we did during China Water Week. I’d like to tell you something about the activities in our school.
A campaign with the theme of “Water Protection and Saving”was going on here. First of all, we had picture and video shows for the students to arouse the awareness of water saving and protection. Besides, we planted many trees in and around our campus. And then, we did different activities on the theme, such as the English Speech Contest, a calligraphy contest and debates to stress the significance of water saving, all of us taking an active part in these activities.
Through the activities, we all get to know more about the importance of water saving and protection. Everyone begins to do his bit to save and protect water. Do you do the same in your school ?
