答案

Dear John,

I’m very glad to receive your letter. And it’s a pleasure to tell you how I’ll spend the coming summer holidays.

First, I’ll have a good rest so that I can reduce my heavy study pressure and recover my energy. Of course, I’ll spend much time reading in the holidays because I think reading can enrich my knowledge and prepare myself for my further studies. Besides, I intend to make use of my time to surf the Internet. For one thing, I can collect necessary information on line. For another, I can share ideas with my friends in every corner of the world. At the same time, I’ll choose to do some part-time jobs. On one hand, I can put myself in touch with society. On the other hand, I can learn to be independent. What’s more, I’ll have a trip with my friends to appreciate the beauty of nature and breathe fresh air. What will you do in your summer holidays? I’m looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Best wishes!

Yours,

Li Hua

I’ll have a good rest so that I can reduce my heavy study pressure and recover my energy. It is high time we realized the potential causes of traffic accidents and acted to prevent them.还要用适当的关联词把句与句连起来,如:for one thing, for another thing;on one hand, on the other hand 等
