答案

One possible version:

Recently we have conducted a survey of 2000 junior and senior students in order to learn more about students’ reading habits.

37% of junior students read fewer than 5 books every year. They prefer cartoon magazines and joke books. Meanwhile over 80% of senior students read only one or two books, preferring popular novels, classic works and science fictions. Junior students say they have little interest in reading, while senior students complain that too much homework leaves them little time.

In fact, junior students think teachers and parents should encourage them to read more. A few senior students say they should have access to the Internet so that they can read whenever they are free. Most of them hold that more reading materials should be provided, and most important of all, they should be given much less homework so that more of them can devote time to their reading interest.

From the survey, I believe something must be done to adjust ideas about education. Without reading, how can students fully develop themselves?
