想象力

  有这样一个故事:三个好朋友,一个是政客,一个地质学家,一个是诗人。由于在外出旅游度假时,被当地土著匪徒追杀,他们要穿越一片荒无人迹的荒漠才能逃生。强忍着饥饿和干渴,他们熬过了最初的两天,他们不知道还要走多久才能走出这片荒漠。饥饿倒是其次的,更主要的是没有水,他们明显地感受到了死亡的威胁。

  政客说:“唉,谁要是在这时候给我们送上一箱矿泉水,我回去后一定会对他提拔重用。”     

  地质学家说:“我们还是现实点,自己去寻找水源吧!”后来,他果真在一些凹地里发现土壤相对比较潮湿。三人立即折下树枝作工具,不停地刨下去。但直到筋疲力尽,仍然找不到水源。

  第三天早上,诗人早早地醒了。面对着一望无垠的荒漠,他放开了想象的缰绳:要是我们正置身于一大片绿地该有多好啊!山泉丁冬,溪流静淌,阳光也柔柔地照着大地,把树叶上的露珠全都折射成一颗颗晶莹剔透的珍珠……树叶的露珠?!诗人突然想起了什么,急忙向一棵树奔去。果然,树叶上还残留着一些未完全蒸发掉的露珠的痕迹。“我们有救了!”他欢呼起来。

  于是每日的后半夜,他们就想办法啜饮树叶上刚凝结还来不及蒸发掉的露珠。近一个星期后,当他们出现在荒漠的另一头时,人们都为他们竟能徒步穿越这片荒漠而活着回来感到十分的惊讶和不可思议。诗人自豪地对人们说:“……是想象力救了我们的命!”
