物理因子治疗中的声、光、电、磁、热等物理因素。多数都可以引起局部或全身产生热量,血液循环旺盛和代谢增强,周围血管扩张,甚至血压下降,心跳、呼吸加快等反应;同时许多物理因素对于核酸、酶、生物膜以及能量代谢,都有显著的影响或某种作用。基于上述原因,物理因子治疗时提出相对禁忌证和绝对禁忌证,如肿瘤、结核在没有使用足够量的抗癌、抗结核药物和其他治疗前进行物理因子治疗,则可能引起结核、癌肿的扩散;如果积极地在足够量的药物和其他有效处理下进行物理因子治疗,不但没有害,相反可提高治疗效果。又如利用发热治疗能提高肿瘤对放疗、化疗的敏感性和增加局部药物浓度;发热治疗还可引起肿瘤细胞原生质体结构的破坏,溶膜体膜不稳定,NDA、RNA和蛋白质的合成受到抑制等影响。物理因子治疗对某些疾病或疾病的某一阶段是绝对禁忌的。如活动性出血性疾病或有出血倾向、高热、妇女月经期下腹部、体内金属存留部、带有人工心脏起搏器者、机体极度衰弱者、皮肤感觉丧失者,采用高频电疗、超声波、热疗等均为绝对禁忌。如特别需要者,要极为小心,采用高频电疗时,要用无热量。另外对某些理疗过敏者也视为禁忌。
