新文化运动在中国近代史上有着重要地位。
①承上启下的作用:新文化运动是思想领域里,中国知识分子同北洋军阀反动统治进行的斗争。它承接了前一章所介绍的“捍卫民主共和的斗争”这一知识点。同时新文化运动促使人们追求民主和科学,探索救国救民真理,为马克思主义在中国的传播创造了条件。这又为后面的“五四爱国运动”和“中 * * 党的成立”埋下了伏笔。
