  ①明媚的三月三日如期来临。然而,三月三日留给我印象最深的,不是野外风筝飘飞的轻盈和艳丽,而是奶奶用刀砍树的声音。

  ②“三月三,砍枣儿干……”每到这个时候,奶奶都会这么低唱着,在清亮的阳光中,手拿一把锃亮的刀,节奏分明 地向院子里的枣树砍去。那棵粗壮的枣树就静静地站在那里,用饱含沧桑的容颜,默默地迎接着刀的洗礼。

  ③“奶奶,您为什么要砍树?树不疼吗?”我问。在我的心里,这丑陋的树皮就像穷人的棉袄一样,虽然不好看,却是它抵御冰雪的严寒的珍贵铠甲。尽管冬天已经过去,可现在还有料峭的春寒啊。奶奶这么砍下去,不是会深深地伤害它吗?难道奶奶不知道“人活一口气,树活一张皮”吗?我甚至偷偷地想,是不是这枣树和奶奶结下了什么仇呢?

  ④“小孩子不许多嘴!”奶奶严厉地呵斥着我,把我赶到一边,继续自顾自地砍下去,一刀又一刀……

  ⑤那时候,每到秋季,当我吃着甘甜香脆的枣时,我都会想起奶奶手里凛凛的刀光,心里就会暗暗为这大难不死的枣树________。惊悸和疑惑当然是有的,但是却再也不肯多问一句。

  ⑥多年之后,我长大了。当这件事情几乎已经被我淡忘的时候,在一个远近闻名的梨乡,我又重温了童年的一幕。

  ⑦也是初春,也是三月三,漫山遍野的梨树刚刚透出一丝清新的 绿意。也是雪亮的刀,不过却不是一把,而是成百上千把。这些刀在梨树干上跳跃飞舞,像一个个微缩的芭蕾女郎。梨农们砍得也是那样细致,那样用心,其认真的程度绝不亚于我的奶奶。他们_________地砍着,仿佛在精雕细刻着一幅幅令人沉醉的作品。梨树的皮屑一层层地洒落下来,仿佛是它们伤痛记忆,又仿佛是它们陈旧的冬衣。

  ⑩“那有什么不好呢?” “那有什么好呢?”老人反问道,“长得快的都是没用的枝条,根储存的养料可是有限的。如果在前期生长的时候把养料都用完了,到了后期还拿什么去结果呢?就是结了果,也只能让你吃一嘴渣子。” 我怔在了那里,没有说话。我被深深地震撼了:树是这样,人又何尝不是如此呢?一个人如果年轻时过于顺利,就会在不知不觉间疯长出许多骄狂傲慢的枝条。这些枝条,往往是徒有其表,却无其质,白白浪费了生活赐予的珍贵养料。等到结果的时候,他却没有什么可以拿出来奉献给收获的季节。而另外一类人,在生命的初期,就被一把看似残酷的刀,斩断了圆润而酣畅的歌喉,却因此把养料酝酿了又酝酿,等到果实成   熟的时候,他们的气息就芬芳成了一壶绝世的好酒。从这个意义上讲,刀之伤又何尝不是刀之爱呢?而且,伤短爱长。当然,人和树毕竟还有不同:树可以等待人的刀,人却不可以等待生活的刀。我们所能做的,也许就是在有刀的时候,去承受、去积蓄;在没有刀的时候,去寻找、去打造。让我们铭记刀爱,用生活的砥砺,去迎接累累的硕果和甜美的微笑。
