     You can fly direct from the UK to Lanzarote,Tenerife,or Gran Canaria in about 4 hours and 20
minutes. The airports are all prepared for international traffic and there is no particular Deed to warn
you about regular delays(延误). There's no reason not to visit the Canary Islands!  
Holidays in Canary Islands—Events
     The people here don't need any excuse to celebrate,so there's often something going on, but there
isn't much that should affect your travelling plans.    
    One thing to note is the Canaries Jazz Festival,usually around July, and pretty much always with a
better line-up than anything we seem to be able to manage in the UK these days. Not only that
WOMAD pays a visit here too,around November,for a great free World of Music and Dance Festival.
