(1)设笔记本单价x元,则钢笔单价为(x-2)元,

由题意得:

4x+2(x-2)=56,

解得x=10  所以x-2=8,

答:笔记本单价为10元,钢笔单价为8元;

(2)10×10+(x-10)×10×60%

=6x+40,

答:买x(x>10)本笔记本则需要花费(6x+40)元.
