探究水的沸点

提出问题:水在什么温度时沸腾?在沸腾过程中温度如何变化?

猜想:当水温达到某个数值时开始沸腾,在沸腾过程中,温度可能不变.

设计并进行实验:按图给水加热,将温度计插入水中,不要碰

到烧杯壁和烧杯底,仔细观察并每隔1min记录一次数据,直到水沸腾5min为止.在坐标纸上描出各点,并用平滑的曲线连接各点.如图所示.

(1)水温升到100℃时开始沸腾,水的沸点是100℃;沸腾后继续加热,水温保持不变.

①烧杯中的水要适量,太多加热时间长,太少温度计的玻璃泡会露在水面上;

②沸腾前可加一个盖子,水温升到90℃左右时拿掉盖子,避免气压变化影响实验效果.

③温度计插入水中,不能碰到烧杯壁和烧杯底,以免测量温度不准确从而影响实验结果.

(2)水的沸点受杂质和大气压的影响,可能不是100℃.

(3)开始时,水还没有沸腾,上部的温度低,气泡遇冷收缩;当水沸腾后,全部的水都升至100℃,蒸气泡上升过程中,所受外部压强减小,所以逐渐变大.
