     The Golden Gate Bridge is one of the symbols of the United States. It is in San Francisco,California.It links the San Francisco Bay to the Pacific Ocean （太平洋）

    The bridge is surely one of the most beautiful bridges in the world, and

also one of the tallest bridges. The span （跨度）of it is 4,200 feet, and is 8,981 feet long.

     It was designed by architects （建筑师）Irving and Gertrude Morrow.

The bridge was started building in 1934, and was finished in1936. Orange is

the color of the bridgd. The designers choose the color because it goes well

with the natural environment ofthe bridge.

     If people come to America by ship, they will see the Golden Gate Bridge

first. It is almost the West Coast's  "Statue ofLiberty( 自由女神像)". It is

something that every tourist should visit.
