书趣

大二时我很欣赏一位老师说的一句话:“夜雨孤灯乱翻书。”
夜,不是黄昏,不是华灯初上,而是夜深人静,万籁俱寂。这时白天的喧嚣已经退去,而因为安静,因为清冷,人的思绪便格外纵横开阖,情感的神经末梢也格外丰富而敏感。虽说心远地自偏,然而若在人声鼎沸的菜市场读优雅的小品文,对于我们这些定力不够的年轻人来说,恐怕是有些为难的。
而又有雨。我一直怀疑许多人的灵性是不是都是雨滋养出来的。余光中的《听听那冷雨》虽然不为高见识的长者所推崇,可是我个人以为,一篇“粗头乱服,不掩国色”的文章当然很好,可是雕琢得有美感,那也不是什么坏事啊。至少我在读着的时候,便觉得有几丝凉沁沁的细雨落到发梢了。
少年听雨歌楼上,红烛昏罗帐。
壮年听雨客舟中,江阔云低、断雁叫西风。
而今听雨僧庐下,鬓已星星也。
因为有了雨声沙沙,外边便好像更加安静了。静得让人可以听见自己心灵的声音。
再是孤灯。可以想见古人的“夜阑犹剪灯花弄”。一灯如豆,照彻千年来无眠的人。
孤灯下。似乎总会伴着想像里红袖添香的故事。美丽的孤女,也是那些违心寒窗苦读的多情才子们想出来的。然而终不能实现,孤灯衬着孤人,益见其孤。
最妙的是乱。
我以为,书的乐趣实在不能说是在“汗牛充栋”或“读书破万卷”里。这样太过于注重数目或太注重效率,会坏了读书的美感。书趣,只在“乱”。
丘迟的《与陈伯之书》中,“暮春三月,江南草长,杂草生树,群莺乱飞”。我便尤爱这“杂”“乱”二字。
美的极致在于随性。书也是,不妨随地扔着几本。想起来了,拿起来翻翻,读了一句,觉得不错,就品一品。说不定竟品出会心一笑来了。看得有点闷了,便换一本,或是干脆闲置不看。这和你要坚持的爱情不同,大可放宽心些。
如是,在风疏雨细的夜里,亮一灯,昏黄的光线染得雨丝也微亮。握一卷在手,时而定定地凝神细看,时而望着窗外发发呆,时而低头,淡淡一笑,这时的心境,便是“此中有真意,欲辩已忘言”了。
