    Walt Disney was born on December 5, 1901, Illinois, USA. In his teens he began to learn art and he was

one of the first people to go into the new movies business. His early film work was not successful at all.

    Walt Disney decided to move to Hollywood later. It was a good decision. In 1928 he created his first

famous cartoon character, Mickey Mouse. It was followed by Donald Duck, Pluto, the Three Little Pigs, and

then Snow White and the seven Dwarfs.

    Disney also opened the first Disney Park in Los Angeles in California. Millions of children and adults visit

it and other Disney parks every year. And there are some other Disney lands in the world.

    Walt Disney died in 1966. Disney is a famous name. It means "amusement" in every country in the world.
